Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TRCR (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

2. Description of Service

TRCR is a cloud-based platform that provides time tracking, project management, task management, invoicing, team chat, client management, and reporting tools. The Service is accessible via web browser at app.trcr.pro and programmatically via APIs at api.trcr.pro.

3. Accounts

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

You may authenticate via email/password or through supported OAuth providers (Google, GitHub). You are responsible for the security of your third-party accounts.

4. Organizations & Teams

When you create an organization in TRCR, you become its Owner. You may invite other users as Admins or Members with configurable permissions. Owners and Admins are responsible for managing access and ensuring appropriate use within their organization.

5. Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you enter into the Service, including time entries, projects, tasks, invoices, messages, and files. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.

You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service. This license terminates when you delete your data or close your account.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Upload malicious files or code
• Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications
• Reverse-engineer or decompile any part of the Service
• Resell access to the Service without our written consent

7. Billing & Payments

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. Prices are listed on our pricing page and may change with 30 days' notice. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law.

If payment fails, we will notify you and provide a grace period before suspending access. Your data is preserved during suspension and for 90 days after account termination.

8. Free Plan

The free plan provides limited access to the Service as described on our pricing page. We reserve the right to modify free plan limits with 30 days' notice. Free plan users receive community support only.

9. API Usage

The Service provides REST, WebSocket, and GraphQL APIs for programmatic access. API usage is subject to rate limits as documented at api.trcr.pro/docs. Excessive API usage that degrades service for other users may result in temporary rate limiting.

10. Availability & SLA

We aim to maintain 99.95% uptime for paid plans. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated at least 48 hours in advance. We are not liable for downtime caused by factors beyond our control, including internet outages, third-party service failures, or force majeure events.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TRCR shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

You may close your account at any time from your account settings. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms, with notice where practicable. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Your data will be retained for 30 days to allow for export, after which it will be permanently deleted.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
